Start/Finish times:  Dawn to dusk
Starting point:  7-11, Uintah & I-25.  Do not park at the 7-11.
Directions:  From I-25, take exit 143 (Uintah) and proceed east one block to Glen St.  Turn left and the 7-11 is on the corner of Glen and Uintah. From US 24 East or West, get on I-25 North and follow above directions.
Special Instructions: 
Event info:  The Volksmarch box is located in office behind the cashier.  Please ask cashier for the walk box.  There is a lock box, so you no longer have to mail your fee.  At the start/finish, you will pick up a map with driving directions to get to the walk trailhead (approximately one mile – DO NOT PARK at the 7-11).  RV parking is available on side streets near the trailhead.  Enjoy walking the Pikes Peak Greenway Trail and through America the Beautiful Park.  Rated 1B, the trail is paved surface and hard-packed dirt with some gradual inclines.  Strollers can complete the course.  Wheelchairs can complete the 1Km paved trail, which is rated 1A.  Pets must be leashed. Restrooms are available at the start/finish and may be available at America the Beautiful Park.  Altitude: 6012 ft.  County: El Paso.  * A 1Km functionally disadvantaged paved trail is available.
