Directions:
From Colorado Springs, drive West on US Hwy 24 towards Buena Vista and turn South on Hwy 285 to Poncha Springs. Turn East on Hwy 50 to Salida. The Loyal Duke Lodge will be on your right (across from Centennial Park). |

Event info:
At the start/finish, you will pick up a map with driving directions on how to get to the walk trailhead at Centennial Park. Trail is rated 1A, suitable for strollers, but not wheelchairs. The route follows city streets and a Historical Trail around town. Restrooms are available at the trailhead in Centennial Park and in Riverside Park in downtown Salida. Please allow 2½ hours to complete the walk. Altitude: 7036 ft. County: Chaffee. |
